The people whose portraits feature in the exhibition were selected because the pupils we were working with were interested in finding out more about their professional and personal lives. They were selected to represent a variety of walks of life and realms of interest that include science, religion, media, the arts, medicine and sport.

We're extremely grateful to all of them for agreeing to take part in the project, for giving us so much of their time and allowing us an insight into what makes them all unique as individuals.

If you click on the links below you'll be able to find out more about each of the subjects and see, watch and listen to their portraits.

All of the separate elements of each portrait have been added to the website but as the physical exhibition uses motion sensor technology to enable visitors to interact with the portraits, the website does not recreate the visitor experience.

You can see a short explanation of how the portraits work in the Interactivity section.
