After talking about the photographs with Kippa, it was time to take our own photographs. Kippa set up two areas for us to shoot in - one near the window using only natural light and one that was more like a studio set up, with a black back-drop and studio lighting.

Everyone had a go at being the photographer and the subject. We tried out different angles and different close ups, with some really close up shots of the subjects' faces and some of their head and shoulders.

Having had a go at taking their own photographs, the group discussed the difference between wide angle lens and long lens shots. In the end the group decided they'd like to see examples of the subjects taken both ways - i.e. long lens, studio lights against plain black background and a wide lens head and shoulders shot.
